First Ever YLOK Summit!

Wanna know something crazy? Statistics say that only 1 in 52 YLOK graduates in each graduate class knows a YLOK graduate from another class.

That is a lie. I made it up. But hopefully it made you feel special, because you probably thought to yourself, "Wow, I am that one person, because I DO know a YLOK graduate from a class other than my own!" But whether you do or don't know someone, you now finally have the most splendid of opportunities to make that dream a reality. And I know you've been dreaming about it.

On July 31st, from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum, all Youth Leadership Oklahoma graduates from classes I-XIII will have the chance to unite for the first time for a delicious round of snacks, a thrilling presentation, and mingling opportunities with members from every YLOK class. You would be crazy to miss this, because the "best of the best" have probably only gotten better with time. Remember how amazing your YLOK trip was? This will be the perfect time to reconnect with the friends you made, relive old memories, and see how far you've come. It will also be the perfect chance to see what other YLOK graduates have gone on to do. Who knows what could happen when all of these great minds come together!

In addition to reconnecting with each other and networking, we will be hearing from David Woods, CEO of Giant Partners out of OKC, and author of the bestselling "The Art of Networking-Beyond the Handshake." Believe me, this is something you can't miss. If that doesn't convince you, maybe this will: the first 100 RSVP's to the YLOK Summit will receive a free autographed copy of the book!

We are extremely excited for this event and hope that it can be the beginning of many more. Youth Leadership Oklahoma continues to grow, and you are helping to make it happen. We look forward to seeing you there and wish you the best until then!

This event is invite only, and you must RSVP through our Evite invitation. If you still have not received the Evite, please email Bryce Rowland at brycehrowland@gmail.com or LeeAnne Stone at lstone@leadershipoklahoma.com. Thank you!

The Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum is located at 1400 Classen Dr, Oklahoma City, OK. However, you will not be able to access the parking lot from Classen. Instead, turn east onto 13th Street, and then turn north onto Shartel Avenue. The museum will be on your left, and you will need to make a U-Turn on Shartel to access the parking lot. See you there on the 31st!
